A hospital pharmacy opening is available for a licensed pharmacist to provide expert medication management and patient care in a community hospital setting of approximately 150 beds. This contract position requires a motivated professional with a solid background in inpatient pharmacy operations and the ability to adapt to a variable schedule, predominantly covering day and afternoon shifts. Key Responsibilities: Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently to ensure patient safety. Supervise pharmacy technicians, enhancing team productivity and compliance. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to optimize pharmacotherapy plans. Utilize hospital pharmacy technologies, including Meditech, PharmacyKeeper, and Pyxis, for daily operations and inventory management. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license is required. Minimum of 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience preferred. Familiarity with Meditech systems is a significant advantage. Ability to work full-time with flexible availability across various shifts. Schedule/Hours: Variable days and afternoons with some scheduling flexibility to accommodate staffing needs.
