Join our passionate team and be part of our continuing legacy of positive change!Outpatient Therapist (Jardin de los Niños), Full-Time Salaried/ExemptMake a Difference in Youth & Family Services!The Therapist/Clinician conducts diagnostic mental health assessments and formulates appropriate treatment plans for children, adolescents, maternal and infant mental health and their families based on the family needs and strengths by collaborating with physicians, treatment team members and service providers as necessary to implement patient interventions and achieve treatment goals. This position requires the flexibility to work at two different clinic locations within the community - Las Cruces and Hatch. What You'll Do:Conduct diagnostic assessments and formulate appropriate treatment plansImplement patient interventions based on assessment, patient input and in conjunction with the treatment plan teamPrepare, organize, and engage in individual and group psychotherapy interventions according to established patient goals and treatment planMonitor all patient and family progress in treatment and outcomes as a result of interventionsProvide Social Emotional Learning interventions and consultation in the classrooms of Jardin de los Niños as neededProvide education and information in the community as neededProvide outreach and referral assistance to clients unable to access services in the communityCollaborate with primary physician, team members and other staff and service providers regarding client careParticipate in multidisciplinary team meetings in the school setting to facilitate treatment that is sensitive to the varying needs of each client.Maintain written clinical records and statistical records on individual and group services and prepare written reportsPrepare comprehensive treatment summaries assessing progress in treatment and barriers to dischargeProvide 10-15% of interventions in nontraditional settings and during non-traditional hours. (home, community, school, field office, telehealth) (after 5:00pm M-F and Saturday)Performs other duties as directed by the Clinical Manager and CEOWhat You Need:License in the State of New Mexico (LISW, LMSW, LPCC, LMHC or LMFT)Master's level behavioral health intern, psychology intern, pre-licensure; psychology postdoctoral student; provisional or temporary licensureMust pass a criminal background check; maintain a current driver's licenseParticipate in professional development to obtain needed continuing education credits and professional growthWritten and Oral fluency in English and Spanish highly preferredWe Offer:Competitive salaryCompensation and Benefits Compensation is commensurate with experience.
