Become a vital part of a hospital team in Missouri Valley, IA as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast agents, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images for adult and pediatric patients across inpatient, emergency, and occasional outpatient settings.Minimum Requirements:2 years CT technologist experience.Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.BLS certification.Advanced CT exam knowledge. ARRT CT specialty certification preferred but not required.Experience using EPIC electronic medical record and McKesson PACS preferred.Familiarity with Siemens Somatom GoUP CT and Bracco injector, Siemens Multix x-ray room equipment, and Siemens Mobilett Elara Max portable units preferred.Ability to perform CT, CT angiography (CTA), and portable x-ray exams on mixed adult and pediatric populations.Must comply with facility radius rule: candidate must reside outside 50 miles from facility and must not be employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by affiliated health systems within the past year.Driver's license required at submittal.Adherence to fingernail policy: artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas.Assignment Details:Facility type: Hospital.Department: CT / Radiology.Shift name: Days.Shift pattern: 12-hour day shifts, Friday-Sunday schedule (12:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m. / 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. schedule noted as 8a-8p for some shifts).Orientation: 12 hours (one week department-specific orientation).Charting system: EPIC.PACS: McKesson.Coverage expectations: Will cover emergency department, inpatient areas, and occasional outpatient duties.
