An urgent opportunity exists for a skilled Staff Pharmacist to provide per diem coverage at a retail pharmacy within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This role is critical, as the pharmacy faces potential closure without adequate staffing. Your expertise will ensure continuous care for the community and help maintain this essential healthcare service. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily opening and closing procedures of the retail pharmacy. Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations. Manage 340B pharmacy operations in compliance with federal guidelines. Utilize Rx30 software for pharmacy management; training is available if you have prior experience. Deliver exceptional patient care and medication counseling in a fast-paced clinic pharmacy setting. Qualifications: Active New York State pharmacist license in good standing. Proven experience in opening and closing retail pharmacies. Strong leadership skills with experience supervising pharmacy technicians. Familiarity with 340B program operations is highly desirable. Ability to adapt quickly and maintain accuracy under pressure. Location: Canandaigua, NY (within a managed health center under a larger parent organization). Travel or lodging support is provided for candidates commuting over 75 miles. Per Diem Schedule: Thursday 4/2: 1 PM - 7 PM Saturday 4/4: 9 AM - 3 PM Tuesday 4/7: 8 AM - 7 PM Wednesday 4/8: 8 AM - 7 PM Saturday 4/11: 9 AM - 3 PM Benefits & Perks: Competitive hourly pay rate.
