FTC is looking for a Therapeutic Behavioral Analyst who has the following capabilities:Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Expertise: Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and proficiency in ABA principles, function analyses and assessments, behavior acquisition, adaptive life skills, and behavior reduction strategies.Supervisory and Training Skills: Ability to provide effective supervision and oversight to therapists, including training, performance feedback, and support in implementing Behavior Support Plans. Capable of facilitating training sessions in ABA, utilizing both discrete trial training and natural environment training models.Policy Development: Skilled in proposing and developing policies and procedures that enhance the Therapeutic Behavior Program team, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.Resource Development: Able to assist in the identification and development of resources and support information for clients and their families, ensuring access to appropriate services and interventions.Behavior Plan Development: Proficient in creating behavior plans and treatment plans with a focus on neuro-divergent affirming strategies, using evidence-based approaches to teach appropriate behaviors and reduce maladaptive behaviors.Collaboration and Communication: Effective in maintaining ongoing communication and collaboration with various stakeholders, including other supports, parents, community members, and community agencies. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to develop and maintain relationships.Data Management and Analysis: Capable of establishing and maintaining data collection systems to track program efficacy, analyze data to guide programming decisions, and ensure accurate and meaningful data analysis.Professional Development: Demonstrates a commitment to ongoing learning and staying current with literature, research findings, and resources in the field of applied behavior analysis. Actively engages in professional development activities and continuing education courses.Organizational Compliance: Adheres to organizational policies and procedures and follows the code of ethics outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Maintains client confidentiality and upholds ethical standards in all professional interactions.Time Management and Documentation: Exhibits excellent time management skills to meet session note deadlines and maintain accurate and organized documentation.Job Description:The Therapeutic Behavioral Analyst will be a student (in school) working towards achieving their BCBA certification while working alongside the Board Certified Behavioral Analyst Therapist and will provide neuro-divergent affirming support to individuals and their families by coordinating and providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), function analyses and assessment, behavior acquisition and adaptive life skills. A BCBA will also oversee programming of associate behavior analysts and provide ongoing support and supervision to therapists as it relates to the implementation and documentation associated with Behavior Support Plans. Responsibility:This position reports directly into the Therapeutic Behavior Program DirectorFunction in a supervisory capacity and provide oversight to all areas of programming including the training of therapists. Propose development of policies and procedures that would further expand on organizational policies and procedures with the intent to improve the Therapeutic Behavior Program team.Providing fair, constructive, and timely feedback towards performance expectationsAssist in the development, facilitation, and follow-up training in ABA, using both discrete trial training and natural environment training models of teaching. Facilitate and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for clients and their families.Provide model teaching and other direct instructional supports including, but not limited to, practicum supervision/teaching, class instruction and in-service instruction to other support professionals. Assist in the development and implementation of assessment tools, to conduct functional assessments and analyses when appropriate, and to develop appropriate behavior strategies to teach appropriate behavior and reduce maladaptive behaviors. Develop behavior plans/treatment plans for all learners with a focus on neuro-divergent affirming strategies.Meet as needed with supervised staff to discuss ongoing learner issues and to provide support when necessary. Enter and finalize session notes within 24 hours of each session. Provide consultation services and maintain ongoing communication with all parties involved (other supports, parents, community, and community agencies). Keep current with the literature, new research findings and resources. Have excellent written, verbal, and time management skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, supervisors, peers, and community members.
