Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia providers and surgical teams in delivering safe and effective patient care. The Anesthesia Technician is responsible for preparing anesthesia equipment, assisting with procedures, maintaining supplies, and ensuring operating rooms are properly set up for anesthesia services. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, supplies, and medications for surgical proceduresAssist anesthesiologists and CRNAs during anesthesia administration and proceduresSet up anesthesia machines, airway equipment, and monitoring devicesAssist with patient positioning and preparation prior to anesthesia inductionSupport airway management procedures including intubation supportMonitor and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment as neededClean, disinfect, and restock anesthesia carts and work areasMaintain inventory and order anesthesia supplies as neededEnsure compliance with infection control and safety standardsRespond promptly to emergency situations requiring anesthesia supportRequirements2 years of experience as Anesthesia Technician in a Acute Care FacilityTravel experience is neededOne to two years experience preferred in one of the following areas, Recovery Room, ICU, Emergency Room, Operation Room, Med/Surg, Pharmacy or Bio-Med setting.EMR: EPIC experience preferred but not required; will train on-site.BLS is neededAbility to effectively interact with customers to understand their needs and explain data.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person and via telephone with members, employer groups, brokers,physicians, and physician office staff using strong dialogue and customer service competencies.Written communication.
