You will assist with study visits, patient education, data documentation, and clinical procedures under supervision while you grow into an independent research role.You'll be part of a fast-moving team where your clinical background as an MA will help you succeed quickly.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (TRAINING + ON-THE-JOB GROWTH)Patient Care & Study Visits• Assist with study visits and patient check-ins• Take vitals and perform basic clinical assessments• Support consenting visits (we train you!)• Collect and process samples (we train you!)• Assist with ECGs/EKGs, labs, and other protocol procedures• Help coordinate follow-up visits and patient schedulingDocumentation & Data Entry• Document study visits in real time• Maintain accurate source documentation• Enter clinical trial data into electronic systems• Support query resolution and record organizationClinical Coordination• Coordinate study visit flow with investigators and site staff• Ensure patients are prepared for study visits and procedures• Track supplies, equipment, and study materials• Communicate with sponsor monitors and clinical teams (we train you!)Compliance & Research Training• Learn FDA regulations, ICH-GCP standards, and research compliance• Support preparation for monitoring visits and audits• Learn protocol adherence and deviation preventionWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (IDEAL MA CANDIDATE)We're looking for someone who is organized, reliable, and excited to learn.Required Qualifications• Medical Assistant experience (CMA/RMA preferred, but not required)• Strong patient interaction and communication skills• Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment• Ability to multitask and stay organized• Basic EMR experience and strong documentation habits• Professionalism, dependability, and attention to detailPreferred (But Not Required)• Phlebotomy experience• EKG experience• Bilingual (Spanish/English)• Experience in pain management, pulmonary, cardiology, or wound care clinics• College DegreeNo clinical research experience is required.We will train the right person.CAREER GROWTH OPPORTUNITYThis role is designed as a pathway into a long-term research career.
