The technician is capable of identifying various abnormalities and performs tests adhering to Department standards to consistently produce records of high technical quality. The Registered Polysomnography Technician acts a resource person for the Licensed Polysomnography Technician.** **Education Requirements:** **1) Graduation from an accredited Polysomnography program with an AAS, registered (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists and a valid Polysomnogram License in NYS.** **Or** **2) Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program with an AAS and a valid Registered Respiratory Therapy License in NYS. Sleep disorder specialist adds on or are registered (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, preferred.** **Experience Requirements:** **One to three years' experience in a sleep lab.** **Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.** **Ability to use applied technology in a clinical setting.** **Pay Range:** **$32.29-$46.82** **Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
