A Nuclear Medicine Technologist position is available with a focus on advanced imaging procedures and patient care efficiency. This travel opportunity is based in Pineville, LA, requiring a commitment to 7 AM-3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with an immediate start date. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures while supporting other imaging technologists. Facilitate smooth patient flow and adapt to different shifts or campuses as necessary. Troubleshoot equipment and image processing issues, participate in quality assurance, and maintain radiation safety protocols. Ensure accurate documentation, storage of completed exams in PACS, and adhere to confidentiality and safety standards. Collaborate with management, physicians, and staff to promote a positive work environment and exceptional physician satisfaction. Maintain compliance with all applicable state, federal, and organizational policies and standards. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Graduate from an accredited radiology technology or equivalent program. Nuclear Medicine Technology certification (N) by ARRT or NMTCB required. State licensure mandatory: Louisiana LRT (N) or (F) by LSRTBE. Basic computer skills and BLS certification. Preferred: Minimum one year experience in a clinical nuclear medicine environment.
