An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide maternity leave coverage from April 15 to June 11 in a dynamic school setting located in Higganum, CT. This full-time (1.0 FTE) contract position supports students in 4th through 8th grades across two schools, serving both intermediate (4th-5th grades) and middle school (6th-8th grades) populations. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services tailored to students' individual needs. Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement effective communication strategies. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school guidelines. Participate in assessments to identify students' speech and language abilities. Provide teletherapy services as necessary, adapting to the needs of the students. Desired Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is required. Experience working in school settings, ideally with 4th-8th grade students. Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or equivalent pediatric experience. Comfort with teletherapy service delivery is a plus. Strong communication and collaboration skills within interdisciplinary teams.
