This full-time pharmacist role offers a unique opportunity to split your expertise between retail and inpatient pharmacy services in Harbor Beach, MI. You will work four days per week from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with one weekday off and rotating weekends. The retail pharmacy and hospital inpatient pharmacy are conveniently located just a block apart. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all pharmacy policies, procedures, codes, and standards Review medication orders for accuracy, allergy considerations, and drug interactions Prepare intravenous admixtures adhering to standard formulas and protocols Provide thorough medication information and answers to staff and patients Maintain strict confidentiality and professional conduct at all times Collaborate effectively with team members while also demonstrating the ability to work independently Desired Qualifications: Graduate from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy Licensed pharmacist in the State of Michigan Prior experience in hospital pharmacy preferred or a strong willingness to learn this environment Proficient with pharmacy software; current use of Pioneer RX for retail and CPSI for hospital settings, with a transition to EPIC slated for November Comfortable managing a prescription volume averaging 250 per day, including servicing adult foster care home scripts and a long-term care facility Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:30 am to 5:30 pm) One weekday off Rotating weekends This direct hire position is ideal for pharmacists seeking a diverse role combining retail and inpatient pharmacy practice within a community-focused healthcare setting.
