A well-established medical center in Metairie, LA is seeking two Transplant/Clinical Pharmacist Specialists for a 13-week contract starting Monday, May 4th. This opportunity offers day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including weekend rotation, providing a dynamic environment to apply clinical expertise in transplant pharmacotherapy. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized pharmaceutical care to solid organ transplant patients. Manage immunosuppressive therapy and monitor for drug efficacy and safety. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize transplant patient outcomes. Utilize EPIC EMR system for accurate documentation and patient data management. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum of 1 year of transplant pharmacy experience. PGY-2 Solid Organ Transplant residency preferred, or PGY-1 with relevant transplant support experience. Active Louisiana pharmacist license required. Board Certification is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records system required.
