As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be an essential part of the billing department supporting the organization's financial operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.Job Title: Medical Billing SpecialistLocation: Lake Mary, FLWhat's the Job? Manage the entire billing process, including submission of claims and follow-up on payment status. Coordinate insurance verification and ensure clients understand their co-pay responsibilities. Handle front-end rejections and resolve billing issues efficiently. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PHI, and other regulatory policies. Maintain accurate and complete client information in the system, including gathering missing data and confirming sales orders.What's Needed? Previous experience working with front-end rejections in medical billing. Experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) billing is preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, insurance companies, and team members. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and billing compliance standards.What's in it for me?
