Hours may vary and routine weekend shifts will be scheduled. Call duty is required.Job DescriptionThe CT Technologist will provide timely diagnostic services for both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. This role involves performing a variety of imaging procedures, demonstrating proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, and ensuring quality patient care.ResponsibilitiesPerform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.Demonstrate proficiency in CT scanning of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.Assist in biopsy/drainage procedures.Maintain knowledge of CT system processing and surgical/sterile procedures.Conduct studies with and without contrast media.Understand cross-sectional anatomy.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureGraduation from an accredited AMA school.Active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).State licensure as a general radiographer.Minimum of 2 years of experience, including travel experience.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
