DescriptionThe Department of Dermatology invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. We are seeking an academic research dermatologist with expertise in translational science to join our vibrant and growing research community. The successful candidate will be an innovator in skin disease research, developing and applying novel methodologies to address high-impact questions at the interface of basic discovery and clinical translation. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, genetics and genomics of skin disease, cancer, immunology and inflammation, tissue engineering and regenerative biology, computational biology, and advanced imaging or molecular techniques.Candidates will be expected to establish an independent, externally funded research program and to foster multidisciplinary collaborations within the Department of Dermatology and across the broader scientific community at UT Southwestern.
