This position offers an opportunity to utilize advanced CT imaging skills in a supportive hospital environment focused on trauma and stroke care. The role is a contract assignment located in Saint Augustine, FL, requiring a commitment to overnight shifts from Monday to Thursday (9 pm - 7:30 am). Responsibilities include performing standard CT scans using GE and Siemens equipment, with documentation in Meditech and GE Centricity systems. The technologist will support the emergency department by ensuring efficient turnaround times for imaging critical to stroke and trauma cases. Flexibility to float to the main department as needed is also part of the role. A strong focus on patient experience is essential, employing AIDET communication techniques to maintain a friendly and patient-centered approach. Qualifications & Desired Experience: ARRT CT certification and active Florida license required Minimum of 1 year of CT imaging experience, including trauma and stroke exposure Proficiency with GE CT systems required Advanced skills with Terra Recon or similar reformatting software preferred BLS certification Familiarity with hospital documentation systems such as Meditech and GE Centricity Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM Four 10-hour shifts with no weekend work Minimal voluntary on-call duties Location Overview: Saint Augustine, FL offers a unique blend of rich history and beautiful coastal living.
