Our edge comes from our team of people and our commitment to patients.Job DescriptionThe Associate Director Global Medical Affairs, will function as global medical lead for hematology, to build and execute the medical plan as well as support the necessary cross-functional launch preparations and lead Sobi toward the successful lifecycle management of our hematology medicines, while adhering to the highest scientific and ethical standards.Key ResponsabilitiesSupport the MPL (Hematology) to build and execute global medical strategy/plans, including the following deliverablesBuild and execute global medical strategy/plan and tactical planManage engagement of global KOLs in the fieldCo-leading evidence generation workshopsReview and answer any Medical Information questions, as neededSupport development of reactive slides decks for external use on relevant dataInput to clinical studies in phase 3-4Support scientific communications with internal cross functional colleaguesFacilitate and support external and internal training and training materialGive scientific input to external and internal scientific publicationsSupport to cross-functional projectsProvide scientific input, review and approval to the development of promotional material driven by the commercial teamTo be successful in these activities, the Associate Director Global Medical Affairs Hematology:Will possess and continue to develop a deep understanding and knowledge on PNH, ITP and aplastic anaemia and related haematology therapeutic areasWill develop productive relationships and contributions with key external stakeholdersWill develop productive relationships and contributions within the cross-functional headquarter team, as well as with local affiliate offices, and collaborative partnersWill role model the highest scientific and ethical standards, and work in accordance with applicable rules and regulations with regards medical activitiesQualificationsMedical degree (MD) or PhD requiredExperience within the Hematology therapeutic area is highly desiredGlobal launch experience is desirableExperience and ability to engage with key external stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to build and execute strategic and tactical medical plansRelevant experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry (e.g., Medical Affairs/Scientific Communications/Clinical or Preclinical Sciences etc.) > 5 years preferredDemonstrated ability to accurately and effectively evaluate and analyze medical/scientific data and literature, and demonstrated presentation and communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAdditional InformationPlease note:As this role carries global responsibilities and can be based across US.
