Overview: Immediate openings for entry level & early career Microbiologists within a beverage manufacturing facility. Responsibilities: Document and respond to consumer complaints Assist with the weekly microbiological report Report any mechanical, raw material or procedural problems to the Quality Manager Perform a variety of sample collections and plating of finished products.Read and interpret microbioloqical plates.Participate in short and long term microbioloqical research projects.Prepare reagents, standards, and buffer solutions as necessary.Order laboratory supplies and equipment.Help maintain the consumer complaint database Perform other tasks as requested by the Quality Manager.Perform miscellaneous projects as needed, including; extra sample collections, new product testing, testing consumer samples, changing carbon beds or cleaning reaction tanks in the waterplant, etc. Requirements: Minimum of an AS degree in Biology High Attention to detail Ability to work within a team Ability to adapt to an changing environment
