LOCATION: Mile Tree Elementary School JOB TYPE: School Year/Follows the district calendar/Full time position SALARY: Per the "Unit A" Contract ($50,645.85 year - $104,231.22 year) JOB DESCRIPTION: Specific responsibilities: • Perform treatments/procedures, First Aid, and administer daily and prn medications according to MD orders/school and DPH policy/HWRSD protocols/procedures. • Maintain accurate up to date health records. • Meet requirements of DPH/DESE health regulations for immunizations. Health screenings, concussion protocol, communicable disease surveillance, and field trip planning and preparation. • Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and other staff as part of an interdisciplinary approach to ensure student health and wellness in the school setting. • Develop and revise individualized health care and emergency plans. • Attend nurse staff meetings and faculty meetings as appropriate. • Kindergarten registration. Additional hours may be required. • All other responsibilities according to full school nurse job description.
