Position Type: School Age CareDate Posted: 2/18/2026Location: Noreen Activity CenterJOB SUMMARY: To assist SAC Site Supervisors in providing a safe, enriching and enjoyable SAC Summer Camp experience under the direction of the Program Coordinator and the Program Managers.Terms of employment include: Positions start Friday, June 5th, 2026 and run through Friday, August 21st, 2026, Monday-Friday. Friday, June 5th, hours TBD. Monday and Tuesday June 8th and 9th, all positions will work 8 am-5 pm but no more than eight hours a day. No more than one week (5 days) of time off will be granted unless special conditions apply. Actual hours may vary according to enrollment. SAC will be closed Friday, June 19th, and Friday July 3rd, 2026. Salary range is $16.89-18.59 per hour per the 2023- 2025 salary schedule for paraprofessionals. All positions are temporary and do not exceed 66 days of employment. Training is required for all new hires from May 26th-June 4th, 2026 from 12:00-4:00 pm. Friday hours could vary due to field trips.POSITION REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE? Must be 18 years of age.? Assist in the implementation and preparation of curriculum and enrichment activities for all studentsregardless of needs.? Ability to actively supervise and participate with all children in all activities; supervise during fieldtrips, indoor and outdoor play. Intervene as necessary. Log behavior when appropriate.? Assist in guiding children's behavior using a positive and consistent style.? Assist in supervising field trips.? Maintain a supportive, safe environment.? Assist in supervising children's indoor and outdoor playtimes.? Work in groups to assist students with daily activities.? Engage, facilitate, and demonstrate positive relationships among youth and staff.? Ability to work as a team member.? Help with the bike fleet.? Knowledge of and ability to implement emergency procedures.? Enforce proper hand washing and sanitizing.? Ensure supplies and equipment are sanitized routinely.? CPR, First Aid, AED and CPI certified. (Preferred)? Must have had Mandated Reporting training. (Preferred)?
