A healthcare facility in Monroe, NC, seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist with dual-modality experience in CT and X-ray imaging for a contract position. This role provides essential imaging services within an 11-bed free-standing Emergency Department and outpatient setting, supporting a busy patient flow of 70-80 ED patients and 60-80 radiology outpatients daily. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging using dual-modality Radiology (DX)/CT technology. Administer IV contrast and utilize 3D rendering software (TerraRecon). Operate Shimadzu diagnostic X-ray equipment and Siemens go.Top CT scanner. Document patient data in EPIC EMR and manage medication dispensing with OmniCell. Maintain collaboration with department leadership and provide high-quality patient care. Participate in weekend rotation, on-call duties, and holiday coverage (75% holiday schedule). Potential floating within the department as needed. Qualifications and Experience: ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and advanced registry in CT. Current BLS certification. Minimum of 1 year experience preferred; first-time travelers considered based on experience. Proficiency with dual-modality radiology and IV starts. Familiarity with TerraRecon 3D rendering software. Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 06:45 AM to 07:15 PM. Six-week rotating schedule cycle. Weekend and holiday rotations required, with on-call responsibilities based on department needs.
