Seeking an experienced School Psychologist to provide expert psychological services within a school setting in Elizabeth, NJ. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to the educational and emotional well-being of students by conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and collaborating with educators and families. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results to identify students' needs. Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies to support student success. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design behavior management plans and support services. Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations. Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed. Desired Qualifications: Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist. Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results for diverse student populations. Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and intervention techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with school personnel and families. Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively.
