A permanent opportunity is available for Clinical Pharmacists to work in a dynamic hospital setting. This role offers an engaging atmosphere where professionals can develop their clinical skills across multiple units, including Emergency Department (ED), Critical Care Unit (CCU), and the antibiotic stewardship team. Unlike larger hospitals that may limit pharmacists to a single floor, this position encourages diversity in clinical practice, expanding expertise and experience in acute patient care. Location: State College, PA - a vibrant community known for Penn State University and a welcoming environment for relocation. Key Responsibilities: Perform medication order entry and verification, and review medication profiles for appropriateness. Deliver clinical services tailored to specific patient populations. Provide drug information and participate actively in multi-disciplinary rounds as assigned. Monitor drug therapy and manage pharmacist consults following established protocols. Engage in acute patient care scenarios such as cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma within ED and critical care settings. Qualifications / Desired Experience: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD). Completion of PGY1 residency or a minimum of 3 years of current clinical experience. PA pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain licensure. Candidates without an active PA license are welcome to apply. Schedule: Variable day and afternoon shifts, primarily 8-hour shifts during daytime hours. Benefits: Competitive salary range from $108,000 to $169,000 annually, with a midpoint around $139,000.
