Job Summary (in List Format): - Facility Overview: - Freestanding Emergency Department (ED) with 12 beds - Provides Emergency care with Diagnostic X-ray (DX), CT, and Ultrasound (US) imaging - Traveler must live at least 50 miles from home unit - Department Details: - Average daily scans: 28 DX/CT and 10 Ultrasounds - Minimum 1 year specialty experience required - First-time travelers considered based on experience - Patient Population: - Treats emergency cases such as motor vehicle collisions, shortness of breath, falls, injuries, and DVTs - Licensure/Certifications: - Dual Modality DX/CT Tech: BLS and ARRT RT(R)(CT) required - Skills Required: - Proficient in both Diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging - Department Staffing: - 2-3 technologists per shift: 1 Ultrasound, 2 DX/CT techs (shift dependent) - Technology/Equipment: - EMR: EPIC - PACS: Phillips ISite - Equipment: GE CT scanner, Siemens S2000 US machine, Shimadzu XR equipment - Floating/Call: - DX/CT Tech may take on-call shifts (2 nights/month) at two freestanding ED locations - Orientation: - 3-day departmental orientation - Scheduling: - Shifts: 7a-7:30p or 7p-7:30a - On-call: 2 nights/month (choice of nights) - Must work 75% of holidays - RTO (time off) with manager approval - Other Information: - Scrub color: Black - Free employee parking (in back of facility) - Team-oriented department culture
