Perform specialized MRI procedures in Interventional Radiology and emergency/outpatient settings, producing high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires adherence to MR safety principles and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Perform MRI scans on various patient populations including vented and anesthesia cases Ensure patient care and safety throughout imaging procedures Utilize GE 1.5T and 3T MRI equipment; operate Visage PACS system and EPIC EMR Respond to rotating call schedule, including 2-3 days per week with weekends Follow established safety and infection control protocols, including flu vaccination requirements Qualifications & Experience: ARRT registration required; MRI advanced registry required within 1 year BLS and Registered Radiologist Assistant (R.R.A.) certification required Minimum 2 years' experience in Pediatric Radiology / Imaging preferred Familiarity with GE 1.5T and 3T MRI systems preferred Strong communication and patient care skills necessary Schedule: Days, 3 x 12-hour shifts Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 Orientation week scheduled during day shifts Additional Details: Contract length: 16 weeks Dress code: Black scrubs (top, bottoms, jacket) Physical demands include occasional lifting, pushing, and balance requirements This position offers exposure to a high-acuity Level 2 Trauma Center with nationally recognized care standards.
