This role provides front desk leadership and operational support, ensuring timely patient check‑in, efficient workflow, and an exceptional patient experience while serving as a resource and role model for Office System Assistants.Schedule: a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM; rotating Saturdays, 6:30 AM-3:00 PMResponsibilities: + Lead and support front desk operations; ensure efficient workflow and issue resolution + Accurately check in patients, verify demographics/billing, and coordinate radiology exams + Schedule inpatient, outpatient, and add‑on exams per departmental guidelines + Answer multi‑line phones professionally; route calls and obtain missing provider orders + Maintain documentation accuracy, confidentiality, and HIPAA/UPMC compliance + Deliver excellent customer service, including service recovery and complaint resolution + Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, support training and teamwork + Demonstrate flexibility, sound judgment, and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment + High school diploma is required. + A minimum of six months clerical experience is required. + A strong knowledge of medical terminology is required. + ICD-9 coding experience desired. + Knowledgeable in the use of computers including Microsoft Word and Excel. + Excellent customer service skills are required. + Previous radiology experience is preferred.
