Consistently performs in a manner that exemplifies Deaconess Clinic standards for customer relations and patient satisfaction. * The Behavioral Health Therapist must be able to demonstrate knowledge of growth and development to * provide patient care appropriate to the age of the patients served. * Skilled in the use of a variety of mental health assessment tools * Independently assesses and evaluates a wide variety of psychiatric conditions commonly found in the patient population served. * Knowledgeable in the growth, development, and emotional needs the patient population served. * Demonstrates sound clinical judgment in determining appropriate treatment modalities. * Collaborates with internal and external sources in providing clinical treatment. * Monitors patient progress and modifies treatment plan as necessary. * Completes thorough and concise documentation of patient encounters. * Completes encounter documentation within 24 business hours of appointment. * Utilizes the Electronic Medical Record for documentation of patient encounters; enters charges accurately and timely. * Complies with Standards of Employee Conduct and the Deaconess Clinic Compliance Program. * Participates in networking and marketing activities to maintain and grow patient referral base. * Strives to perform at a minimum of the MGMA 75th percentile for productivity. * Maintains after hours on-call availability for patients with urgent needs and/or arranges for coverage by an alternate provider in the Deaconess Clinic Behavioral Health Department. * Ability to maintain therapeutic posture with patients who are in various stages of emotional stability; ability to maintain control in volatile or hostile situations. * Education Qualifications * Master's degree of Social Work (MSW) Required Licenses and Certifications * Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Required
