Job Title: Ultrasound TechnologistLocation: Elmhurst, NY Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract) Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Hours: 35 hours/week Schedule: Includes weekends and holidays (as required) Employment Type: ContractCompensation:Hourly Rate: $74.35/hourGross Weekly Pay: $2,974/weekWeekly Stipend: $1,414Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in general, pediatric, and vascular ultrasound while ensuring accuracy, patient safety, and compliance with clinical standards.Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures for adult and pediatric patientsConduct vascular ultrasound studies as requiredEnsure accurate image acquisition and proper documentation of findingsMaintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during proceduresCollaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support diagnosis and treatmentDocument procedures and results in the electronic medical record (EMR) systemAdhere to departmental protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirementsParticipate in training and onboarding, including EMR system educationRequired Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound TechnologistRegistered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - ARDMS requiredCompletion of an accredited ultrasound training programExperience in acute care/hospital setting requiredProficiency in general, pediatric, and vascular ultrasoundRequired Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)Strong computer and documentation skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalismFor more details reach at jknox@ or Call / Text at 732-791-4827.About Navitas Healthcare, LLC: It is a certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
