We're a dynamic, innovative, and customer-centric company dedicated to making a positive impact on people's lives.Position SummaryThe Pharmacy Manager is a leadership role responsible for managing, developing, and scaling Gifthealth's pharmacist team.This role is centered on people leadership, coaching, and building a high-performing pharmacist organization. The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for developing Lead Pharmacists, strengthening team structure, and creating a culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement across both on-site and remote pharmacists.While this role partners closely with production, fulfillment, and operations teams, its primary focus is ensuring that pharmacists are supported, aligned, and performing at a high level, enabling the broader organization to operate efficiently and compliantly.This leader will play a key role in growing future pharmacy leaders, strengthening team performance, and supporting scalable systems and tools as Gifthealth continues to expand.Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development (Primary Focus)Lead, coach, and develop Lead Pharmacists and pharmacist teams, building a strong leadership pipelineCreate a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvementProvide ongoing performance management, feedback, and career development for pharmacists and leadersIdentify high-potential individuals and actively mentor and grow future leadersEnsure consistent expectations, communication, and performance standards across remote and on-site teamsSupport hiring, onboarding, and training of pharmacists and pharmacy leadership rolesTeam Performance & AlignmentEnsure pharmacists are working efficiently, accurately, and consistently within established workflowsMonitor team performance and provide coaching to improve quality, productivity, and consistencyPartner with leadership to ensure appropriate staffing coverage and team structureReinforce clear expectations around prescription verification, patient safety, and quality standardsAct as the primary leader responsible for pharmacist engagement, accountability, and team healthCompliance & QualityPartner closely with the PIC and Compliance team to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirementsEnsure pharmacists consistently follow SOPs, regulatory standards, and internal policiesSupport the review, approval, and ongoing improvement of SOPsMaintain a strong focus on patient safety, accuracy, and quality of careCross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with production, fulfillment, and operations teams to ensure alignment between pharmacist teams and broader workflowsPartner with engineering and product teams to support adoption of tools and systems that impact pharmacist workflowsAct as the voice of the pharmacist team in cross-functional discussionsEnsure changes to workflows, tools, or processes are clearly communicated and adopted by the pharmacist teamScalability & Team GrowthBuild and evolve team structures to support rapid growth and increasing volumeHelp implement tools and systems that enable pharmacists to work more efficiently and effectivelyIdentify opportunities to reduce friction for pharmacists and improve team performanceSupport the organization in scaling the pharmacist team without sacrificing quality or engagementQualificationsDoctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent experienceActive pharmacist license in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy3-5+ years of pharmacy experience with leadership or supervisory responsibilitiesPreferred Experience & SkillsProven ability to lead, manage, and develop pharmacist teams and leadersExperience managing both on-site and remote teamsStrong understanding of pharmacy workflows, prescription verification, and quality standardsDeep knowledge of regulatory compliance and pharmacy requirementsExperience in high-growth or fast-paced environmentsAbility to work cross-functionally across multiple teamsCore CompetenciesStrong leadership and coaching mindsetExcellent communication and team-building skillsAbility to develop people while driving accountabilityStrong judgment and decision-making abilitiesPassion for team development and patient care excellenceWork EnvironmentLocation: On-site Schedule: Full-time; standard pharmacy operating hours with flexibility as neededMay require availability for weekends, holidays, or escalationsRegular collaboration with pharmacy leadership and cross-functional teamsKey Essential Functions Ability to stand for extended periods (4+ hours)Ability to lift up to 25 poundsAbility to perform repetitive motions (bending, reaching, scanning) throughout shiftAbility to work onsite for all scheduled shiftsEmployment ClassificationStatus: Full-timeFLSA: Exempt Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) StatementGifthealth is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
