We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.Minimum Requirements: Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.RRT certification required.Current Massachusetts Respiratory Care license in good standing.BLS certification required.Five or more years of recent experience in a Level 1 trauma facility.Recent critical care experience in both MICU and SICU with familiarity in lung protective ventilation strategies.Participation on Code Blue team experience required. Able to make ventilator management decisions based on patient assessment and laboratory results.Required experience with EPIC electronic health record.Preferred: Experience with Level III NICU and with Dräger XL and V500 ventilators.Preferred: NPS and/or ACCS certifications.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital.Shift name: Nights.Shift pattern: 36 hours per pay period comprised of 12-hour night shifts, every other week (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) schedule.Location HighlightsBoston, MA offers a mix of historic landmarks and urban lifestyle within compact commuting distances.
