Become a vital part of a Macon, GA hospital as an experienced CT Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment to support inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department care in a Level 1 trauma, teaching hospital setting.Minimum Requirements:4 years CT experience required.Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with CT modality certification required.BLS certification required.Demonstrated ability to perform IV starts.Experience working with EPIC electronic medical record preferred.Experience with Philips PACS and GE CT scanners preferred.Previous experience in a high-volume hospital or trauma center preferred.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital.Shift name: Nights.Shift details: Nights 1900-0700.Schedule: 3x12 night schedule.Standard hours per week: 36.Patient types: Inpatients, outpatients, emergency department patients.Department equipment: Philips PACS, GE CT scanners.Floating: Will float between inpatient areas and ER as needed.Orientation: New employee orientation plus 1 day departmental orientation.Holiday expectations: Required to work holidays that fall during contract.Location HighlightsMacon, GA offers a blend of historic and recreational attractions within short drives.
