We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Biddeford, ME where you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.Minimum Requirements: Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.Current Maine respiratory care license or state license in good standing with the State License Board.Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an RRT, with adult ICU experience required.Experience working in Emergency Department settings treating pediatric patients, including intubation and mechanical ventilation.Experience attending high-risk deliveries and participating on resuscitation teams in a Level I nursery or equivalent.Familiarity with Drager V500 ventilators, Hamilton T-1 transport ventilators, NeoPuff, V60 BiPAP, Airvo high-flow systems, and RAM cannula.Experience using EPIC electronic medical record preferred.Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS.Ability and willingness to float to all patient care areas across the hospital, from newborn to adult populations.Preferred: NICU and PICU experience to demonstrate comfort and competence treating newborns and critically ill pediatric patients.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital.Shift: Nights.Shift hours: 1900-0700.Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.Weekend hours: 36 per schedule.Call requirements: none.Float requirements: must float to all areas of the hospital.Number of openings: multiple openings available.Location Highlights Biddeford, ME offers coastal access and regional recreation within short drives.
