We seek an experienced researcher who complements the interdisciplinary nature of the UTARI research groups. Ideal candidates will have strong records of research in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, human-computer interfaces, health informatics, personalized medicine, and/or health outcomes. They will also have a record demonstrating a high likelihood of continued research success. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The primary responsibility of the research faculty is to engage actively in research with the faculty and full-time research staff at UTARI, as well as in collaboration with other relevant departments and centers at UTA. This role includes conducting research leading to publications and participating in the development and submission of related research grant proposals in the area of Big Data for Healthcare applications. Required Qualifications Applicants must have a doctoral degree in Computer Science or Engineering or a related discipline. Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to candidates with at least 5 years of experience and a record of funded research as PI and Co-PI, as well as scholarly activity in the expected research areas.
