Arnot Health, a member of Centralus Health, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Assessment Specialist to join our team on a per diem basis. In this role, you will provide critical mental health services, including crisis and intake assessments, interventions, discharge planning, and referrals. You will work closely with patients, families, and community agencies, serving as a trusted liaison and advocate for those in need of behavioral health support. Your SchedulePer diem positionWeekend and holiday coverage requiredVarious shifts What You'll DoConduct evaluations, assessments, crisis interventions, and referrals for patients in the emergency department or other assigned areasProvide direction and support to patients, families, and healthcare providers, addressing psychosocial, cultural, environmental, ethical, and financial concernsComplete accurate psychiatric assessments and progress notesCoordinate discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring appropriate referrals to community resourcesAct as a liaison between Behavioral Health Services and community agencies, maintaining strong knowledge of available resourcesRecognize and report potential compliance issues, following policy and procedureDeliver care that reflects Arnot Health's commitment to A.I.D.E.T.
