This role involves performing allergy testing, administering allergy immunotherapy, and providing patient education under the supervision of a physician. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform allergy testing, including skin prick tests, intradermal tests, and patch tests.Administer allergy immunotherapy injections and sublingual immunotherapy treatments.Prepare and mix allergen extracts according to physician protocols.Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including test results and treatment plans.Educate patients on allergy testing procedures, treatment plans, and allergy management.Monitor patients for adverse reactions to allergy tests and treatments and provide appropriate care as needed.Assist in maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.Order and manage inventory of allergy testing and treatment supplies.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to provide coordinated patient care.Perform other related duties as assigned.What We OfferComprehensive Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, and Vision)Health Savings Account (HSA)Flexible Spending Account (FSA)Short & Long Term DisabilityHolidays & Paid Time Off (PTO)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Retirement Contribution Program - 401(K) MatchRequirementsQualificationsHigh School graduate or G.E.D equivalent requiredMedical Assistant Certification CPR Certification preferredThree (3) years prior experience in a medical practice is preferredKnowledge of allergy testing methods, immunotherapy protocols, and related medical terminologyStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate recordsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environmentBasic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
