Job Description

A healthcare facility in Eagle, NE is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a contract opportunity. This role specializes in nuclear medicine imaging using advanced equipment, including the GE Discovery 630 Dual Head and GE PET 8 scanners. Key Responsibilities: Perform nuclear medicine imaging studies accurately and efficiently, following department protocols. Utilize EPIC and McKesson EMR and PACS systems for imaging documentation and management. Collaborate with other imaging departments; flexibility to float to XR or CT areas if licensed in those modalities. Adhere to radiation safety standards; radiation badge will be provided. Participate in departmental orientation requiring 1-3 shifts. Respond to standby calls within a 30-minute window when scheduled. Qualifications and Experience: Current and valid BLS certification. ARRT (NM) or CNMT certification required. Possession of a valid driver's license to verify compliance with a 50-mile radius rule; candidates currently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit (CHI or Dignity) are not eligible. Additional licenses such as ARRT RT(R), CT, or MR are advantageous but not mandatory. Compliance with patient care standards including a no artificial nails policy. Scheduling: No weekend, holiday, or on-call commitments for Nuclear Medicine and Mammography. Shifts are scheduled according to a supervisor template; self-scheduling is not available.
