Job Description

A travel opportunity is available for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Headland, AL, offering a 13-week assignment starting ASAP. This role requires proficiency in nuclear medicine imaging with a focus on cardiac applications and provides the chance to work with advanced dual-head CorCam cameras using Cedars Sinai software. Key Responsibilities: Administer various nuclear isotopes to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Conduct quality control procedures including floods and equipment calibration. Operate imaging equipment and ensure accurate development and organization of images. Deliver timely diagnostic services for inpatient and outpatient care, following radiologist directives and departmental protocols. Qualifications and Experience: Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) credential required. Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in nuclear medicine imaging. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Must have hands-on cardiac imaging experience, including Cardiolites, isolated MUGAs, and amyloid studies. Familiarity with Cedars Sinai software highly preferred. Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program or registered with ARRT, maintaining a state license. Schedule and Location: Shift typically from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with flexibility based on patient needs. Procedures begin at 7:30 AM; early start necessary to receive isotopes and complete QC tasks.
