Description: We are seeking an outpatient long-term Hematology/Oncology provider. The candidate should have an interest in transitioning to a permanent role and contributing to the development of the service line. This position primarily focuses on outpatient care in a Hematology/Oncology setting. Coverage will involve infusion services at two campuses. The schedule includes three days of coverage at one campus and two days at another, with evening call responsibilities. The patient population consists of adults and geriatrics. The practice will comprise 50% Hematology and 50% Oncology services. The average number of patients per day in the outpatient setting is 30. Documentation will be managed using the EPIC system. Key responsibilities include participation in tumor board meetings, management of bone marrow transplants, ordering tests, prescriptions, and the administration of chemotherapy. The role requires experience in managing VAD/CV catheters and performing bone marrow biopsies.
