This position involves providing advanced psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment in a complex clinical environment while supporting program development, patient-centered care, and clinical excellence across diverse patient populations.The ideal candidate will have specialized clinical training, strong leadership capabilities, and experience delivering high-quality behavioral health services within multidisciplinary care settings. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide advanced psychological evaluations, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic interventionsDeliver high-quality, patient-centered care tailored to diverse clinical needsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support integrated behavioral and physical healthcare servicesParticipate in treatment planning, case consultation, and continuity of care coordinationSupport departmental and programmatic development initiativesContribute to quality improvement efforts and clinical best practicesMaintain timely and accurate clinical documentationAssist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and treatment protocolsParticipate in education, mentorship, and training of students, residents, and clinical staff as neededFoster strong communication with internal teams, external providers, patients, and familiesEnsure compliance with all applicable professional, ethical, legal, and regulatory standardsRemain current with developments, research, and best practices in clinical psychology and specialized treatment areas QualificationsDoctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited universityCompletion of an APA-accredited internshipLicensed Psychologist by the Texas State Board of Examiners of PsychologistsStrong background in clinical psychology , including:Psychological assessmentPsychotherapeutic interventionFamily systemsDevelopmental orientationExperience in a specialized area of psychological practice such as:Child psychologyPalliative carePain managementAddictionsCorrectional healthOther specialty behavioral health areasDemonstrated experience providing treatment across a variety of complex clinical casesTraining in evidence-based specialized treatments (EBSTs) preferredStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to deliver culturally responsive and patient-centered care Preferred QualificationsCertification or advanced training in specialized treatment modalities preferredExperience working in multidisciplinary or hospital-based settings preferred Required Documents / Additional RequirementsActive Texas Psychologist license required
