Join a newly developing Cardiometabolic Center of Excellence. Support the education of fellows, residents and medical students through hands-on learning and mentorship, with a potential for a faculty appointment with Creighton University School of Medicine. What you can expect: Full-time clinical role. 1.0 FTE: 36 patient contact hours per week.Great mix of outpatient general endocrinology and inpatient consults. Call responsibility 8 weeks per year assisted by internal medicine residents and endocrinology fellows.Treat patients with a full spectrum of endocrine conditions, including thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, bone, and metabolic disorders in addition to diabetes. Engage in bedside teaching and supervision of medical students, internal medicine residents and endocrinology fellows.Anticipated volume 15 patients per full clinic day.Existing referral patterns to help a new physician get started quickly.Full clinical support staff, including a dietician and on-site Certified Diabetes Educators (CDE).Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)Professional growth opportunity for this role could evolve into a clinic physician champion.
