Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.Minimum Requirements:Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, MRI (MR) credential required.Medical Radiologic Technologist license issued by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) required.BLS certification (AHA) required.Experience with Philips or Siemens MRI scanners highly preferred.Experience with 1.5T equipment required.Experience performing MSK, neuro, and body MRI studies for inpatients and outpatients, including IV starts and creatinine draws preferred.Experience using Meditech and Synapse or similar EMR/PACS preferred.Orientation availability for a 12-hour orientation period as specified by the facility.Candidates must not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year. PRN employment through outside firms will be considered.Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital.Unit: Radiology - MRI.Shift: Days, Monday-Friday with a typical 7:30 AM start for weekday shifts.On-call requirement: Rotational call. One week on-call rotation every month including weekday evenings (5 PM-6 AM) and 24-hour coverage Saturday-Sunday as scheduled.Call expectations: Rotational holiday and weekend on-call duties required.Scans per day: Average of approximately 10 studies per day.Equipment: Department uses Philips and Siemens scanners; experience on either vendor highly preferred.Scanners per location: 1-2 scanners/rooms per campus.Float requirement: First to float between College Station and Bryan campus (approximately 16 minutes apart) as needed.Additional duties: IV starts and inpatient/outpatient imaging in clinic and hospital settings. May be asked to precept as needed.Charting system: MEDHOST.
