This fiscal year, non-tenure track assistant clinical professor will direct the Gerontology program by overseeing recruitment and admissions for the Masters of Science in Gerontology, teaching graduate-level courses in gerontology, consistent with the area of expertise, as well as providing support for integrating gerontology content in other SHAMP programs. In addition, they will utilize innovative, evidence-based teaching strategies to engage students in both in-person and online formats; provide academic mentorship, guidance, and support to students, including capstone advising; and assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to facilitate learning. The faculty will engage with local and regional agencies related to gerontology to promote academic initiatives and identify student opportunities. They will also engage in scholarly or creative activities relevant to the field of Gerontology. The Masters of Gerontology is an online program.
