Position Overview: The Crisis Service and Diagnostic Center provides individualized, short-term (up to 90 days) stabilization support s maximum of sixteen (16) adults aged 18 and above who have intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) and/or co-occurring behavioral health (BH) diagnoses adults with. These individuals may be experiencing psychiatric crises or significant emotional/behavioral challenges that threaten their ability to remain in their current home environment. Location/Schedule: 750 Hazel Street, Macon, GA - Monday-Friday with some weekends, 8am-5:30pm or 3pm-11pm. Key Responsibilities: * Implement individualized behavior support plans designed by a Behavior Analyst to address crisis behaviors. * Use evidence-based crisis response strategies, including de-escalation, calming techniques, and behavior redirection. * Collect and document data on behaviors during crises to inform intervention planning and track progress. * Assist with functional behavior assessments to identify behavior triggers and patterns. * Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (BCBAs, nurses, therapists, RBTs, DSPs) to ensure comprehensive care. Qualifications Education: * Master's degree in psychology, Behavior Analysis, Education, Social Work, or related human services field. Experience: * Minimum of 1 year completing comprehensive functional assessments and behavior support plans. * Minimum of 2 years working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral health needs. Training: * At least 35 hours of education/training in behavior analysis and behavioral support for individuals with developmental disabilities or must complete within the first 30 days of employment. Certification: * Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is preferred.
