DescriptionTherapist - Community OutreachJob Title: Therapist - Community Outreach- Houston CountyReports To: Community Reinforcement DirectorSummary:A Community Outreach Therapist is responsible for ensuring that the comprehensive psychosocial needs of his/her clients are identified and effectively met in a safe and structured community treatment environment. A Community Outreach Therapist supervises a caseload of clients that have been referred to the DYS Community Reinforcement program by the local Juvenile Court. The therapist facilitates and implements programmatic/therapeutic interventions with clients in their homes, schools, jobs, and community. In addition, this position makes the necessary professional contacts in the community to ensure satisfactory continuation of services. This position works with Juvenile Probation Officers, Juvenile Courts, Community Representatives and Service Providers, and parents and/or legal guardians to ensure continuity of services and continuations of the program, assists with direct contact required for each client through the different phases to successfully complete the program.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following.
