Exciting opportunity for an experienced CT/PET Imaging Technologist to provide critical diagnostic services in a Level II Trauma Center equipped with advanced imaging technology. This contract position is based in Deatsville, AL, offering a structured 4-day night shift schedule that supports work-life balance and professional growth. Schedule: Four 10-hour night shifts, Sunday through Wednesday Responsibilities: Perform CT imaging including angiograms, biopsies, drainage, trauma scans, and stroke perfusion studies Manage a patient ratio averaging 4 patients per hour, maintaining high-quality care for inpatient and outpatient adults, with occasional pediatric cases Operate and troubleshoot all GE CT equipment efficiently within the main Radiology department, rotating across different hospital areas Collaborate with healthcare teams using Cerner EMR to document and communicate patient data Participate in a comprehensive hospital orientation followed by unit-specific training, primarily on day shifts with experienced staff Adhere to hospital policies including holiday work rotations and on-call availability (voluntary basis) Qualifications and Desired Experience: ARRT certification with CT specialty and current BLS certification required; State license preferred Minimum of 2 years of relevant CT experience (1 year considered for strong skill sets) Expertise in trauma imaging and angiogram procedures essential; stroke perfusion experience highly preferred Comfortable floating throughout the hospital to support various radiology needs Location Overview: Situated in Deatsville, AL, close to Montgomery's medical community, this facility boasts 492 beds, a Level III NICU, and a Primary Stroke Center designation, providing a dynamic healthcare environment with diverse patient populations and cutting-edge resources.
