Medical Technologist Performs the pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical preparations of patient/clinical samples to assist a physician in treating or diagnosing different medical conditions. Maintains laboratory equipment to maintain regulatory compliance. Performs laboratory protocols and experiments with the guidance of the laboratory supervisor and manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Sample intake RNA isolation from blood and other samples e.g., saliva cDNA synthesis qRT-PR CData Analysis Operating, maintaining, and calibrating all general lab equipment. Skills Excellent attention to detail. Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Research and analysis skills. Ability to multitask. Ability to follow biohazard guidelines. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to closely read instructions. Job Requirements Meet one of the following requirements: Be a doctor of medicine, doctor of osteopathy, or doctor of podiatric medicine licensed to practice medicine, osteopathy, or podiatry in the State in which the laboratory is located or - Have earned a doctoral, master's or bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution or - (No ASCP required) Additional Information Why work with me?
