Lead and shape the launch of a specialty pharmacy as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a newly established facility in Lakewood Ranch, FL. This role offers the unique opportunity to oversee the complete build-out and opening of a specialty pharmacy, working directly with a specialty pharmacy management group dedicated to supporting clients in establishing their operations. Location: Lakewood Ranch, FL Responsibilities: Serve as Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring full regulatory compliance and high standards of pharmacy practice. Manage the entire build-out process of the new specialty pharmacy, coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders. Develop and implement pharmacy operations policies, procedures, and workflows tailored to specialty pharmacy needs. Oversee daily pharmacy activities upon opening, including staff management, inventory control, and patient safety. Collaborate with specialty pharmacy management to align operational goals and deliver exceptional patient care services. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Licensed Pharmacist with valid credentials to serve as Pharmacist in Charge in Florida. Demonstrated experience in retail pharmacy and specialty pharmacy environments. Proven ability to manage pharmacy build-outs, openings, or similar projects. Strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure seamless transition from construction to operation. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards for specialty pharmacies. Excellent communication skills for liaising with teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
