Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing, including blood bank and chemistry analyses Operate advanced lab equipment such as Sakura tissue processors and Ventana H&E stainers Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and data management Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with protocols Support accurate and timely reporting to assist clinical decision-making Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience required; first-time travelers with over 1 year eligible MLS certification mandatory; MLS and MLT certifications considered Preferred experience in Blood Bank and Chemistry disciplines Skilled with tissue processors and histology equipment a plus Schedule and Work Environment: 7 days on / 7 days off rotation Shift: 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM; rotational 40-hour work weeks with some day shifts (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM) over a 1-3 week cycle No weekend rotation, holiday duty, or on-call requirements Orientation includes 1 day NEO and 2 days on-site lab-specific training Free parking available Dress code allows any scrub color Location Overview: Deatsville, AL offers a community-friendly setting with proximity to Montgomery's urban amenities.
