MRI Technologist (Contract)Location: Hackensack, NJ 07601Assignment Duration: 13 WeeksSchedule & Shift DetailsShift: Monday - Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PMWeekend Rotation: Every 3rd Saturday & SundayOn-Call: Not requiredPosition Overview"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures under physician supervision. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate diagnostic imaging while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established clinical protocols.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform MRI procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and imaging standardsReview and prioritize imaging requisitions; schedule patients efficiently throughout the shiftPrepare and administer contrast media when requiredEnsure timely processing and delivery of imaging resultsCollaborate with radiologists to optimize imaging quality and diagnostic outcomesMaintain accurate patient records, logs, and equipment downtime documentationRespond to STAT and emergency imaging requests in a timely mannerMonitor and manage inventory; report supply needs to leadershipAccurately document and charge all imaging examsIdentify, troubleshoot, and escalate equipment issues as neededSafely transport patients to and from the imaging departmentMaintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environmentProvide high-quality patient care and support to patients and familiesAssist with departmental coverage and cross-training in additional modalities as neededSupport productivity goals and quality standardsPerform additional duties as assignedRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experienceStrong communication and patient interaction skillsExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesEducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent (required)Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (required)Licensure & CertificationCurrent New Jersey MRI Licensure (required)ARRT (MRI) Certification (required)For more details contact at hdavda@ or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.About Navitas Healthcare, LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
