Location: Silt, CO Job Type: Contract (ends mid-August 2026, adjusted for start date) Start Date: ASAP Schedule: Rotating day/evening shifts, 40 hours per week Start times at 06:30 or 08:00, Monday through Friday Rotating weekends with shifts from 07:00 to 12:00 Key Responsibilities: Prepare and dispense medications per physician orders accurately and safely. Maintain stocked medication supplies in patient care areas. Interpret medication orders and manage computerized patient medication profiles. Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals including IV admixtures and parenteral nutrition. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and control substance regulations. Monitor drug therapy for interactions, allergies, and appropriateness. Perform pharmacokinetic dosing according to hospital protocols. Review culture and sensitivity data, recommending antibiotic adjustments. Provide clinical consultation to medical staff and educate patients and families. Document clinical activities accurately and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Serve as a member of the Code Response Team. Qualifications: Active Colorado Pharmacy License in good standing. Graduate from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. EPIC system experience is mandatory; Meditech experience is advantageous.
